in Best cafés by

Like we mentioned in our Istanbul review, Turkey (read more about their coffee culture here) is the place where you can get some of the best coffee in the world. This southern city in Turkey is a great summer tourist place. With its Azure blue sea, golden beaches and world famous Turkish hospitality make this city a tourist paradise.

Whatever you are doing while here, and there is a lot to do (driving quads, jeep safari, aqua parks), you will need to regain all of that spent energy. There are many ancient landmarks like Termessos or Kalcici, that takes time and energy to explore. Aqua parks are so much fun, but will make you feel exhausted afterwards.

If you prefer being on the beaches, you will want to cool off with one ice coffee in a nearby café. Whichever activity you choose to do, most important thing is to have fun while doing it.

Since there is so much to do here, in this article, we will help you find some excellent cafés for you to choose which suits you best. Then just sit down, have a good time and enjoy the coffee.

This is one unique café, since it is located on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean, next to the old Turkish Hidirlik tower. The view from the café is breathtakingly beautiful, especially during sunset. You know that some place is good when it is popular with locals, and this café is very much loved by them.

From the first look at this café, it is very similar to the American diners. It is very big and you cannot miss it. Windows and supporting poles have the same color as coffee, and with interesting detail, where they painted drops under them that looks like the coffee is dripping on the wooden wall.

Inside of it is very comfy, with comfortable chairs and pleasant colors of the interior. In the middle of the café there is even a play area where you can leave your children to play, so you can drink your coffee in peace. Very thoughtful of them. The staff is amazing. They are patient, always smiling and full of understanding.

They will treat you like you are a regular there. Coffee selection is admiring and offer many roasting methods and bean selection (Brasillian, Costa Rica, Kenya, Guatemala, Columbian, Yemen, you name it, they have it). You should try their Yemen Special coffee, which has an interesting taste to it.

Or if you prefer something stronger, try Aromatic Double Turkish Coffee. There are also many coffees with different tastes, like Banana, Strawberry or Chestnut coffee.

Of course espresso, cappuccino and such is presented, but with so many homemade choices, it would be a shame to try something regular here. Apart from coffee, their ice cream delights are delicious and goes so well with hot coffee. Like yin and yang.

Mado is part café, and part bakery. Even from the inside you will notice stylish design, with most of the walls being windows. There is a nice outdoor sitting area, with couple of umbrellas for sun protection. It is enclosed by a wall with some plants on top of it. It all provides a nice ambient to be in and watch people rush on the street nearby.

Interior has a simple and modern design, with white and cream colors being everywhere. The only thing that stands out is the counter, which is all in black, to break monotony of colors in the café.

It all looks so well done. Staff is really kind and welcoming, but their English is not as good, so you might get into some confusion while communicating. If you have a Turkish friend, or know some Turkish, you will have a blast visiting this café. Their coffee selection is okay, with some interesting choices.

You can get Salep, which is sometimes served with ice coffee. Also, their cappuccinos are delicious and will give you energy to keep exploring Antalya.

Some excellent delights they offer is Kunefe or Knafeh, which is a Turkish delicious dessert made with cheese. And there is also Turkish ice cream, which is delicious and with different texture than your regular one. It is a welcoming change and is a must try if you enjoy sweets.

We covered café that is next to the ancient tower, but this is a really cool and creative way to sell and serve coffee. Caffeebus, as its name says, is actually a bright yellow VW camper van, turned to look like a coffee kiosk.

Since this van is positioned on the street where a lot of people walk every day, he is a great stop to get some delicious coffee or juice and to make a break from exploring. The owner, who also works here is a nice and chill guy, who will offer you help even if you are not a customer.

But when you see such a positive face in a van, you have to stop by to try what he has to offer. The coffee he makes is surprisingly excellent, considering it has only two options. You can get traditional Turkish coffee (which is always a delight), or English coffee (or in the world known as Turkish coffee), and both of these are made with care and dedication.

Like we mentioned, you can also order many types of homemade juices (orange, lemon…), to cool off on a warm day. The menu is not as big, but the things they have are well made and worth the try.

The building where this café is located is build entirely out of wood and looks very cool.  There are of course a lot of outdoor sitting areas, and next to it, nice children playing area. Inside of the café is huge and has a lot of sitting tables. Which is no surprise, since this is one of the most popular cafés in Antalya.

Since this is a café, there are a lot of many types of coffee. It would take a whole article just to name all of them, so we will just mention those that are specific to this place. Special hot coffee menu is the most interesting one, since it has drinks like Chocolate Cookie Latte, Cinnamon Latte, Oriental Latte or Robert’s Mocha.

If you want some of the Origin coffees, you can pick from eight different seeds (Columbia, Guatemala, Kenya, Ethiopia, Java, New Guinea, Costa Rica and Brasil). A true coffee lovers paradise, that will make you want to come back for more.

This is a true Turkish café, with the strangest décor seen in a establishment like this. Since it is located in the center of Antalya, it is very easy to find. Right from the entrance, you will notice that the color scheme is done in a traditional Turkish way.

Only when you enter the café will you be truly amazed, as it has so many styles combined in a single place. It is strange, yet wonderful, combination of eastern and western cultures, with modern and traditional styles set up. It sounds tacky, but it most certainly is not.

One of the rooms has a sophisticated style that reminds of imperial England, and one where everything is lit in small lights with classic Turkish feel to it. Just a wonder of colors and details. The staff is the example of world known Turkish hospitality, and will welcome you with open arms and a big smile.

They will care to all your needs and will make you feel like at home. Their Turkish coffee is prepared and served in a traditional way, with small cups and Turkish delights on your plate. Taste of the coffee is wonderful with rich aroma. Just the smell alone will make you feel energetic and positive.

There are cappuccinos and other non Turkish coffees, but traditional one will leave an everlasting impact on you. There are so many snacks and sweets that go along so well with coffee, that you will want to stay here forever. Also, if you like hookah, they can offer you that as well.
